If you see the spanner light on the display marked "R" on the below picture, this is because your machine is either close to or is now due a service.

When you turn the machine on and you see a number of "10" or below where the hours are located at the bottom of the dispay. This is how many hours are left before the machine is due a service. The spanner light will also stay illuminated for 2 minutes.

If you see "0" this means your machine is either due a service or has exceeded the hours for the scheduled maintenance interval. The spanner light will also stay illuminated.
